Classic rockers ZZ TOP to play SMG-managed DeVos Performance Hall

ZZ TOP a.k.a. "That Little Ol' Band from Texas," lay undisputed claim to being the longest running major rock band with original personnel intact and, in 2004, the Texas trio was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Now, they're making their way to Grand Rapids with a Sunday, October 1st, 2017 concert at DeVos Performance Hall at 7:30PM.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, May 19th at 11:00 AM. Ticket prices are $49.50, $69.50 and $79.50 and will be available at the DeVos Place & Van Andel Arena box offices, Ticketmaster.com and charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000. A purchase limit of eight (8) tickets will apply to every order and prices are subject to change.

The ZZ TOP Meet & Greet Package ($400) includes one premium reserved ticket located in the first five rows from the stage, exclusive meet and greet with ZZ Top, personal autographed photo with ZZ Top, Q&A Session with the band, $50 merchandise voucher to be used at the ZZ Top Online Store, official meet and greet laminate and an on-site VIP host. The ZZ Top Premium VIP Package ($250) includes one premium reserved seat in the first 20 rows of the stage, $40 merchandise voucher to be used in the ZZ Top Online Store and a commemorative tour laminate. Of course, there are only three of them - Billy F Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Frank Beard -- but it's still a remarkable achievement that they're still very much together after more than 45 years of rock, blues and boogie on the road and in the studio. "Yeah," says Billy, guitarist extraordinaire, "we're still the same three guys, bashing out the same three chords." With the release of each of their albums the band has explored new ground in terms of both their sonic approach and the material they've recorded. ZZ Top is the same but always changing.
